Step 1: Create an engine
- Visit Custom Search Engine and create an engine
Step 2: Getting the ENGINE_ID
- Go to the manager
- Click control panel for your engine
- Go to Code tab
The place where you can find your ENGINE_ID is highlighted in this picture:
Copy the code into a text editor and extract your unique ENGINE_ID.
Step 3: Using the plugin
To show a search box you can in your site_content.tmpl insert following:
[[googlesearch=ENGINE_ID]]
You can insert a search box on any site by:
[googlesearch=ENGINE_ID]
An example, to insert amix.dk search box you'll insert:
[googlesearch=002288592806869833798:pkqz6zorjec]
